‘Now Serving… Fairlington’ Business Research

Three of Fairlington’s perimeters touch commercial properties that contain a range of business and service enterprises. There are local and personal services like dry cleaning and dentistry – neighborhood services like bank branches and grocery stores – specialty, gourmet, and boutique shops – and metropolitan area service providers like automobile dealers. Most of these businesses count Fairlington residents as among their most frequent customers, and some of the older establishments were founded when Fairlington residents were the primary clientele.

The FHS would like to preserve the memories of Fairlington businesses and business leaders by gathering materials, records, pictures, and other artifacts.
