Memorabilia Displays

The FHS maintains an archive and installs regular exhibits in two display cases, one located in the Fairlington Community Center ( 3308 South Stafford Street) and the other in the North Fairlington Community Center ( 3001 South Abingdon Street)

Exhibit topics have included: Boundary Stone Southwest #4; the historic district designation process for Fairlington; the receipt of the Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects’ Test of Time Award; the republication of Fairlington at 50; the 60th Anniversary celebration; and several displays of photographs and other memorabilia donated or loaned by current and past Fairlington residents.
